Roy Lichtenstein

The GAM of Turin, with the collaboration of
the Estate, the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation,
the National Gallery of Washington, the Moma and the Whitney of New York organized “Opera Prima”, an exhibition dedicated to the works of one of the fathers of Pop culture. The itinerary deals with a period of time that goes from the early forties to 1997; from the first tests with felt-tip pen, charcoal and crayon to the studies for “Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny” (1958), up to the famous “Study for Pop!”.
